The Salesian Wellness Center
The Salesian Wellness Center helps fulfill the mission of St. John Bosco to accompany the young in a pastoral manner to care for their emotional, social, and spiritual needs. It provides students with a safe, quiet and calming space to reduce stress and anxiety. The Wellness Center on campus aids in early interventions for students experiencing social, emotional, or mental health challenges that affect learning in the classroom.
The Salesian Wellness Center operates under the direction of and in collaboration with the Personal Counseling staff and the Guidance Department. This Wellness Center offers students a quiet space that is a technology-free zone (no personal cell phones, iPads, laptops) where students can sit and relax, listen to a meditation tape, take a mental health break, or drink a hot cup of tea.
