Salesian students can find a place where they can express their creativity through our Visual & Performing Arts program.
Theatre
Salesian drama students perform one play and one musical each year and learn about production, acting, and stage design. Performances are in front of a live audience. Learn more about the upcoming performance or watch past performances.
Music
Salesian students have the unique opportunity to participate in all performances and festivals. Students will discover the world of music through hands-on work with concert band instruments while learning musical terminology, rhythmic figures and basic music reading skills.
Victoria "Tory" DeOrian '09
The Tory DeOrian Art Showcase honors the life and legacy of Victoria "Tory" DeOrian '09 through the generosity of the DeOrian and Sundahl families. Inspired by Tory's lifelong passion for art, the showcase celebrates creativity, joy, and artistic expression while encouraging future generations of young artists. A 2009 Salesian graduate, Tory continued her artistic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, East Bay, along with specialized certificates in children's book writing and illustration, creativity and innovation, and professional makeup artistry. For those who knew her, the showcase is a place to remember and celebrate her life. For others, it serves as an enduring source of inspiration for aspiring artists.
