Take Pride: Athletic Update (10/28/24)

Football: After suffering their first loss of the season against the El Cerrito Gauchos by the score of 28-7, the Salesian football team rebounded with a win on Friday, September 25th, against the De Anza Dons by the score of 62 – 14. Next up for the Pride are the Panthers of St. Mary’s High School at home on Saturday, November 2nd at 1:00PM. In Volleyball, the team will open the first round of the North Coast Section playoffs against the San Rafael High School Bulldogs on Tuesday, October 29th at 7:00 PM in match that will be played at Terra Linda High School. If the team wins on Tuesday, they will play at Berean Christian High School Saturday, November 2nd, at 7:00PM. Come out and support our girls in NCS post-season play!


Girls Golf: The Salesian girls’ golf team will travel to Rooster Run Golf Course in Petaluma for the NCS golf tournament on Monday, October 28th with a shotgun start at noon. Led by Senior Maya Drake '25, the team finished the regular season with ten match wins against two losses. Good luck to the Pride!


Girls Tennis: In tennis, the Pride will play two matches this week to conclude the 2024 regular season in tennis. The first match will take place at El Cerrito High School on Monday, October 28th, and the second match will take place at Albany High School on Tuesday, October 29th. The following week, the team will compete in the TCAL Championships starting on November 5th.


Cross Country: The cross-country team will host Hercules and Pinole Valley High Schools on Thursday, October 31st at Point Pinole for the final regular season meet of the 2024 season. Please come out to support the team as it runs its way into the TCAL League Championships the following week.
