Salesian College Preparatory and Salesians all around the world celebrated the Feast Day of St. John Bosco on January 31. Gathered in the school gymnasium, we were honored and delighted to welcome Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ, who presided over our mass. His presence and words encouraged us to deepen our faith and appreciate Don Bosco’s legacy. The inspiration was palpable on this joyous occasion, especially when the Film Club shared a special mini-movie with everyone. Inspired by the Oscar-nominated movies, Salesian’s Barbie-Oppenheimer persuaded the Bishop to grant five days off to our community, a gift for Salesian College Preparatory!

On February 2, 2024, we celebrated Don Bosco Day as a community. Don Bosco Day has been a long-standing tradition at Salesian, honoring the life and achievements of St. John Bosco. The day began with Faith Family breakfasts, followed by Senior vs. Faculty games, and a day of fun for the entire student body. What makes this day truly special is that it encompasses the oratory model, Home, School, Church and Playground.
