The opening night of this year's Annual Spring Musical at Salesian, Urinetown, was an unforgettable show that had everyone laughing, thinking, and perhaps even blushing a little! Urinetown is a fun, Tony Award-winning musical that takes a humorous yet sharp look at serious issues like corporate greed and corrupt politicians, all while celebrating the people's right to pee for free.
With its catch songs and plenty of silly jokes, it was a performance that combined clever satire with pure entertainment. The show featured a fantastic five-piece professional orchestra, bringing a rich musical experience to the stage and making the performance even more enjoyable. Talk about a College Preparatory experience!
Over 10 seniors showcased their incredible talent, both on stage and behind the scenes, bringing the performance to life with unmatched energy and creativity. The level of talent on display during opening night was truly remarkable, exemplifying the spirit and dedication that the Salesian community is known for. And if that wasn't enough, the French Club provided tasty refreshments during intermission to keep everyone energized and in the spirit of the evening.
There are still two nights of performances to come! If you miss out, you truly will be pissed off (pun intended!). Attend tonight, March 28, or Saturday night, March 29, at 7:00pm in the gymnasium. Tickets are $5 for students, $15 for adults.
