Athletic Update: September 19, 2024 

 

Football:  

The Pride football team is off to a fast start, winning their first three games to start the season 3-0.  The team opened at Piedmont with a 46-14 win, and then traveled to Moreau where they were victorious by the score of 41-27.  Last Friday at College Park, the Pride beat the Falcons by the score of 26-21. The team will next play at home versus Oakland Tech on Saturday, September 21st with the JV kicking off at 11:00AM and the varsity at 1:00PM.

 

Girls Volleyball:  

The girls volleyball team is 5-3 through their first eight matches of the season.  The Pride is 3-1 in league, after convincing wins this week in away contests against SPSV and Pinole Valley.  Next up for the team are the Cougars of Albany on Monday, September 23rd.

 

Girls Tennis:  

The team is 3-1 through four total matches, with a close loss against St. Mary's by the score of 4-3.  The Pride have victories against El Cerrito, Concord, and Pinole Valley, and they will next face Jesse Bethel on September 19th.

 

Girls Golf: 

The team has had two matches so far, both victories against SPV and De Anza High Schools.  The Pride is led by senior Maya Drake ‘25, and will next play at Jesse Bethel on September 19th at Blue Rock Springs Golf Course in Vallejo.
