Grand Reunion 2019
The Grand Reunion Weekend welcomed alumni, family, and friends back to campus for an unforgettable weekend. They came back to remember their time as a student, reconnect with classmates, and renew their connection with your Salesian family!
The weekend kicked off on Friday, Oct 4, with Campus tours to see what had changed since alumni last saw us. Most recently, Salesian completed the "Dream. Believe. Succeed." capital campaign which was a multi-million dollar renovation to improve STEM classrooms and programs, including an elevator for complete accessibility to all floors. Alumni and families toured the campus during school hours to see how students utilized the new equipment. Tours were guided by alumni faculty.
Alumni helped bring the noise on Saturday, October 5, by watching Salesian Football face off against rival, St. Mary's Panthers in Berkeley! JV kicked off at 11am and Varsity at 1:30pm. The historical rivalry dates back to the late 1960s and the ferocity has continued ever since. This year, the game was hosted at St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley.
The Grand Reunion Weekend concluded on Sunday, October 6, with an alumni, family, and friends barbecue on campus from 11am to 4pm. Lunch was served from 12:30pm to 2pm. All were welcomed to hang-out and enjoy the day together. There is no cost to have a good time! There was plenty of space to mingle and enjoy yard games, like Jenga and corn-hole.
