Salesian is committed to delivering an unparalleled Catholic, college preparatory education to young people of all economic backgrounds. In order to ensure affordability for all and fulfill our educational mission, Salesian offers a variety of scholarships and tuition grants to qualified students. Students are informed of scholarships and grants in their acceptance notification.

Applying for Scholarships
9th Grade students may apply for one (1) of the following scholarships:

Service and Leadership Merit Scholarship

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) Merit Scholarship

Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Merit Scholarship

Don Bosco Scholarship
Please submit the online scholarship application with the supporting materials all together by February 4, 2025.
Note: There is no application for the Honors at Entrance Scholarship. Students are invited into the Honors program.

Bay Scholars is a non-profit foundation that supports many of our Salesian students. Bay Scholars exists to make it possible for promising low-income students across the Bay to have access to and flourish at successful college preparatory Catholic high schools. The organization seeks out young scholars who shine academically, engage actively in society and demonstrate outstanding promise and a willingness to give back to their communities.

Tuition Grants (Need-Based)
Salesian College Preparatory is committed to providing all students the opportunity to attend a college preparatory school, regardless of their financial situation. Salesian College Preparatory works continually to increase the amount of tuition assistance available for families. Approximately 60 percent of Salesian College Preparatory students benefit from need-based tuition grants.
