Salesian Academics

Salesian College Preparatory is a private, independent, Catholic, co-educational high school spanning the East Bay Cities of Richmond and San Pablo, California. We feature a strong interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum, including Project Lead the Way’s Biomedical Science Pathway, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science, and innovative visual and performing arts. An extensive roster of Honors, AP, and elective courses highlight a curriculum specifically created for 21st-century learning. At Salesian, students receive a rigorous yet nurturing education that helps them develop into well-rounded scholars.

College Bound with No Boundaries

Salesian graduates boast a 99% college acceptance rate and are all across the world. 

Graduates from Salesian College Preparatory's Class of 2024 received acceptances from 103 different colleges and universities in 29 states across the United States, the District of Columbia, and several international institutions. They were accepted into all nine of the UC campuses, and 21 of the 23 California State Universities. They will attend great schools across the country such as Swarthmore, Morehouse, Tuskegee, and the University of Southern California, to name a few, as well as UC schools such as Berkeley, Davis, Irvine and Santa Barbara.

Signature Program: PLTW

A nonprofit dedicated to creating fun and educational science programs to promote science and engineering in schools. Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is the nation's leading science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) solution in over 8,000 schools across the U.S. PLTW classes are UC approved and are elective science classes that can be taken concurrently with biology and chemistry classes.
