Librarian - Full time

Salesian College Preparatory is seeking a librarian for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for a candidate that can:

  • Ensure that students, staff and faculty are effective users of technology, ideas, and information
  • Empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information
  • Instill a love of learning in all students and ensure equitable access to information
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to design and implement lessons and units of instruction, and assess student learning and instructional effectiveness
  • Provide the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school library program is aligned with the mission, goals, and objectives of the school, and is an integral component of the learning/instructional program.

Personal Counselor - Part time

Salesian College Preparatory is seeking a part-time Personal Counselor (one day per week on Thursday) for the 2018-2019 school year. The ideal candidate should:


  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to students; conduct counseling sessions with students individually or as a group; follow-up on teacher/admin/staff referrals with students.
