I embrace my vocation-- and I appreciate the symmetry between my own instincts around working with students and the philosophy of the Salesians. I look forward to engaging with our young people, both in the admissions process and during their first year here as their guidance counselor. With my Salesian experiences in teaching, coaching and counseling I can share a comprehensive vantage with incoming families and then help mentor students during their transition to high school. I continue to find our students vibrant, compassionate, and FUN! They motivate me every day!
I graduated from the University of California (Berkeley) with a bachelor's degree in History and earned a Master's in Athletic Administration from St. Mary's College. I was voted "Teacher of the Year" at Salesian in 1998 and was Contra Costa Times East Bay "Coach of the Year" while leading boys basketball here in 1997. I am a member of the Dominican University Athletic Hall of Fame and coached the West Team in the 2008 NCAA Division II All-American basketball game.
