Online Applications Available
All students applying for admission must submit and complete an online application along with a $75.00 nonrefundable fee.

Open House—2:00 pm—4:00 pm
The administration, faculty, staff, parents and students of Salesian invite you to join our annual Open House. This day is set for you and your family to meet our family of educators, parents and students and to learn more about the various programs offered.

Admission & Tuition Assistance Applications Due
Submission of the online Application for Admission and nonrefundable fee of $75.00 automatically registers a 9th grade candidate for the High School Placement Examination. In order to be considered for tuition assistance, all forms must be submitted to Ms. Gina Mendez, Financial Aid Coordinator.

Placement Examination (HSPT) 9:00 am—12:15 pm
All 9th grade Diocese of Oakland High School candidates must take the HSPT admission examination. Check-in begins at 8:30 am in the school’s main office area and the test begins promptly at 9:00 am.

Recommendations and 7th and 8th Grade Transcript Requests Due
The administration and 8th grade teaching staff at your current school will work collaboratively to complete these forms.

Interviews 1:00 pm—3:00 pm
Applicants who have been tested and who have returned recommendation forms will be scheduled for an interview. Students will be interviewed by an administrator or teacher.

Notifications Mailed
Parents and students are sent letters regarding their status of admission to Salesian. Tuition Assistance Grants will also be awarded at this time.

New Student Registration & Deposit Fees Due
Registration must be done in person and will take place in the school library 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Transfer Student Applications Due
Students interested in applying to the 10th and 11th grades must submit their applications and supporting documents by this date.

New Parent Night—7:00 pm
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of newly registered freshmen are required to attend this informational evening.
