Admission Calendar 2012 - 2013

JANUARY 4, 2012

Applications Due
Applications and a non-refundable $75 fee due.

JANUARY 7, 2012

Placement Examination (HSPT) 9:00 am—12:15 pm
All 9th grade Diocese of Oakland High School candidates must take the HSPT admission examination. Check-in begins at 8:30 am in the school’s main office area. The test begins promptly at 9:00 am.

FEBRUARY 3, 2012

Recommendations and 7th and 8th Grade Transcript Requests Due
The administration and 8th grade teaching staff at your current school will work in collaboration to complete these forms.

Interviews
Applicants who have been tested will be scheduled for an interview. Interviews are scheduled 1:30 pm—3:30 pm. Students will be interviewed by an administrator or teacher in the gymnasium.

FEBRUARY 17, 2012

Tuition Assistance Forms Due

In order to be considered for first round tuition assistance determinations, all forms must be received by the Finance Office by this date.

MARCH 16, 2012

Notifications Mailed
Parents and students are sent letters regarding their status of admission to Salesian. Tuition Assistance Grants will also be awarded at this time.

MARCH 23, 2012

New Student Registration
Registration will take place in the school library from 3 - 7 pm. A registration fee of $800 is due at this time.

MAY 2, 2012

Transfer Student Applications Due
Students interested in applying to the 10th and 11th grades must submit their applications and supporting documents.

MAY 3, 2012

New Parent Night—7:00pm
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of newly registered freshmen are required to attend this informational evening.
