10TH AND 11TH GRADE TRANSFER APPLICANTS

Salesian High School accepts a small number of transfer applicants each year into the 10th and 11th grades. The number of seats available are determined at the end of the school year and depend on several factors, including current class enrollment. The following outlines the procedures to apply for transfer:

• A completed on-line application, submitted by May 2, 2012.
• Transcript: High school grades are required of all applicants, from 9th grade through the current year. The transcript request form should be completed by the registrar of the applicant's current school. For a conditional decision, you may send copies of the applicant's report cards from each high school year, including work up to the third quarter of the current year.
• Recommendations: A letter of recommendation from a current teacher is encouraged but not required.
• Standardized test scores.
• Transfer students must have an acceptable transcript record with courses reflecting college preparatory work. Students will be interviewed if space is available in the class.
