Academic Recognition
| ACADEMIC AWARDS |
Academic achievement is honored at an annual Academic Awards Evening in late May. At the awards evening, administration and faculty recognize the most outstanding academic achievements of students in all grade levels and coursework. |
| HONOR ROLL |
The Honor Roll is the list of students who have achieved an Academic-Grade-Point-Average of 3.00. The honor roll is posted quarterly outside of the Assistant Principal’s office. |
| HONOR SOCIETIES |
National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation are nationally recognized scholarship organizations. Membership is based on strength of schedule and GPA as well as service and is regarded highly by colleges and universities. California Scholarship Federation National Honor Society |
| SALESIAN & DON BOSCO AWARDS |
The Salesian and Don Bosco awards are given to those students who best exemplify the philosophy of Salesian High School. The selection is made by the members of the faculty and staff who are asked to choose the students who, in their estimation, best present an example of physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual balance. They are of service to others. They are a credit to family, classmates and school. These students should embrace loyalty and excellence in all the different aspects we strive to teach our students. |
| VALEDICTORIAN |
The Valedictorian addresses the graduating class at Graduation and is awarded the Valedictory Award during the ceremony. The Valedictorian is chosen according to specific criteria:

The Salutatorian offers a welcome at Graduation and is awarded the Salutatorian Award during the ceremony. The Salutatorian is chosen according to the same criteria as the Valedictorian. |
