The specific course outlines are here. A word of explanation is due regarding the insertion of a Salesian spirituality mini course which is taught every year in the lead up to the feast of the founder, St John Bosco, on January 31st. This four part course is woven into the curriculum for each of the class levels. Its purpose is to offer Salesian students an understanding of the Salesian charism from its beginnings to present day times. The Salesian mini course is outlined in greater detail, with its specific learning outcomes and content at the end of the section appertaining to the individual courses. It is important that department members equip themselves to understand the implications of Salesian spirituality and for this reason it is essential that any religion department member remaining on the faculty for more than a year attend the Salesian Education Seminar (SES) offered by the western Province of the Salesians each summer.
